On Saturday night, the UFC will head to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada for their UFC 215 show. However, they’ll be doing so without the scheduled main event.
Ray Borg, who was set to challenge Demetrious Johnson for the flyweight champioship, has been pulled from the show due to an illness that isn’t related to weight cutting.
The show will remain on pay-per-view, and it’ll now be headlined by the Amanda Nunes vs. Valentina Shevchenko fight for the UFC women’s bantamweight championship.
As a result of Johnson vs. Borg fight being taken off the card, Henry Cejudo vs. Wilson Reis will now be moved to the main card. The main card will also feature fights such as Rafael dos Anjos vs. Neil Magny, Ilir Latifi vs. Tyson Pedro, and Gilbert Melendez vs. Jeremy Stephens.
