Update on The Undertaker Returning to WWE For Another Match

On Thursday's Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer was asked about a potential in-ring return for The Undertaker. You can check out his response below.

"I don't know [if The Undertaker is returning]. It's possible. The only reason to bring him back would be against Roman and I don't see that [happening] at WrestleMania [34] at all. Maybe the next year at WrestleMania, but probably not. There's a reason he retired. He needed a lot of surgeries, his body was really beaten up, it was time to go. He decided it was time to go before that but he came back. Put it this way, it's wrestling, and people can come out of retirement at any time, but do the mentions make me think he's coming out of retirement imminently? No."

Not Dave Meltzer again! I’ve already predicted Undertaker would return to fight Roman at Wrestlemania. It will be for the Universal title, held at that time by Roman. After Undertaker wins The title, Corbin will come in to cash in his Money In The Bank contract.

F*** Roman. The ONLY thing left for taker to battle is basic thuganomics. No other reason to come back. He’s gonna heal up get in shape enjoy life for a year and the it’s HOF and one last mania match. Otherwise there’s no point. After all hi surgeries are done – he’s gonna feel like a million bucks.

I’m trying to get people to understand that Taker had hip surgery, more specifically a new hip replacement. He has an entirely new hip. He will never be medically cleared to wrestle again after getting a new hip. He’s done, it’s over.

Sorry folks, my view is to let Taker stay retired and be remembered for the incredible phenom he was. Nobody wants to see him get hurt again. He has millions of dollars and a happy life. He gave us decades of entertainment. If anyone earned and deserves retirement, it is the Deadman.
RIP Deadman – Enjoy retirement Mark.
