WWE has announced that they have cancelled several upcoming house shows in Italy later this year, following on from changes to its UK schedule.
WWE has cancelled the two live events scheduled to take place in Italy this coming November on Sunday, November 3 in Florence and Monday, and November 4 in Milan.
The official reason for the cancellation given by the local promoters is a “scheduling conflict in the WWE tour.” It was noted that they hope to announce future WWE dates for Italy soon.
These cancellations come shortly after WWE cancelled the November 5 event in Nottingham, the November 6 event in Birmingham, the November 8 date in London, and the November 9 in Minehead.
It is expected that the reason behind these decisions is that WWE is planning another show in Saudi Arabia at some point around this time, meaning the roster will be unavailable to tour Europe fully, as they normally do each year.
