The ladies of WWE made history once again this Sunday night as Alexa Bliss put the RAW Women’s Championship on the line in the first ever 6-Woman Elimination Chamber match.
It was a long, grueling battle between six of the best that the red brand has to offer, but in the end the self-proclaimed “Goddess” narrowly managed to retain her gold. At least for now, she will advance to WrestleMania 34 to defend the title against her greatest challenge yet – the undefeated “Empress” Asuka. We’ll find out later this evening if Nia Jax can manage to earn a spot in that bout, so make sure you check back.

Bliss was the last woman to enter the Chamber match at the 20-minute mark, so she had the benefit of the easiest route in WWE’s most destructive structure. By the time she actually hit the ring, both members of Absolution and Mickie James had already been eliminated, leaving the champ alone in the ring with both Bayley and Sasha Banks. The two worked together momentarily before Banks turned on her “best friend”, and Bliss was eventually able to take advantage of their drama to pin both women and retain the RAW Women’s Championship.
