WWE Expected to Make Imminent UK Division Announcement, Top WWE Star Undergoing Surgery Following MITB


Following the recent announcement that Johnny Saint has been named the General Manager of the WWE UK division, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports WWE is expected to make an announcement about the WWE UK TV show during the upcoming Royal Albert Hall events on January 18th and 19th.

In related news, WWE has announced the company will be rolling out first round WWE UK Title tournament matches filmed last weekend at the Download Music Festival, via YouTube. You can watch the first match of the tournament, featuring Flash Morgan Webster vs James Drake, above.

Top Star Undergoing Surgery Following MITB

We noted before WrestleMania 34 that Charlotte Flair has been delaying surgery to repair a ruptured breast implant, but it appears as if she will soon be undergoing the procedure. Flair is currently scheduled to compete in the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder match this Sunday night, and after the event, she is expected to undergo the procedure to repair the rupture.

As of now, there is no word on how much ring time Charlotte will be missing, but she has been pulled from the upcoming Japan dates on June 29th and 30th. Charlotte was originally advertised for the shows taking place at Sumo Hall, but the surgery will prevent her from competing.
