As we noted on Sunday night, injured WWE star Jeff Hardy was arrested in Concord, North Carolina on March 10th for driving while impaired.
According to the Cabarrus County Sherriff’s Office, Hardy was arrested at 10:20pm on Saturday night, and was released from jail about an hour later at 11:24pm.
Furthermore, the accident report in the case notes Hardy “ran off the roadway to the right, in turn striking about 105 feet of guardrail before the back end of the car spun out 90 degrees to the left, coming to rest in the middle of the right N bound lane of travel. The driver was arrested and charged with DWI.” The report furthers an estimated $8,000 in total damages to Hardy’s car.
WWE has issued the following statement to ProWrestling.com on Hardy’s arrest:
“Jeff Hardy is responsible for his own personal actions. We are investigating the matter and awaiting information from local law enforcement officials.”
As noted, following the Jeff Hardy arrest the WWE star’s driver’s license has been suspended for thirty days, and he has a court date scheduled for April 16th. Below is Hardy’s arrest mugshot:
