WWE Misleads Fans Concerning The War Raiders’ Last Match?

The December 5 edition of NXT included an update on the condition of The War Raiders. The duo, along with Ricochet and Pete Dune, faced The Undisputed Era in WarGames on November 17.

The match itself was brutal, with all eight men taking hard bumps and big risks in the name of entertaining the Takeover crowd. But according to WWE, it was Rowe and Hanson that felt the worst of the match. Hanson specifically supposedly has broken ribs, torn ligaments and a ruptured spleen

Whether or not Hanson’s condition was reported accurately is unknown. However, the fact is that his last match was indeed not on November 17, as WWE reported.

According to 24 Wrestling, The War Raiders recently worked an NXT live event in Jacksonville, Florida on November 30. They defeated Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch in a tag team match. WWE’s announcement to the contrary seems a bit odd but it’s clear that the company wants to pursue the injury angle.

WWE has yet to announce when The War Raiders will be back in action. The team did not compete at the latest round of TV tapings and the next round is on January 3.
