We start off this week’s episode with a Finn Balor video package building into footage from the match against Samoa Joe in Lowell, Massachusetts when Finn lost the title.

Tom mentions the debut of Eric Young last week and his match against Samoa Joe.
Tonight, Shinsuke Nakamura faces Alex Riley.
Finn Balor makes his way to the ring and he is dressed for a fight.
Finn looks around as the fans cheer for him. Finn says he should be thanking the fans. He wants to address the elephant in the room. Samoa Joe is the NXT Champion. They have been at war for a long time. At Takeover in London, that match could have went either way. Finn reminds us he won. At Takeover in Dallas, that match could have gone either way. Finn reminds us that he won. In Lowell, Massachusetts, that match could have went either way.
Elias Samson makes his way to the ring and he is playing a song for the former champion.
Elias says he wrote this song for Finn Balor.
It has left you cold and blank, empty and alone. A flawed existence. The masquerade of the demon exposed. He came to bury your soul, not give you a pass. I have told these people before what it means and what he is.
Samson says Finn ain’t nothing without that title.
Finn with a Pele Kick to Samson and then Finn throws the guitar at Samson and he makes a catch.
We see Cathy Kelley with Eric Young after last week’s show. Eric says he wants to prove himself against the best. He says the best are in NXT and WWE. He is here to prove that he belongs. He is a world class man, a world class athlete, and world class maniac.
Cathy asks Eric what does it mean to be in NXT. Eric says this is where he always wanted to be. If you want to prove yourself, this is where you do it.

We are back and Finn is asked by Andrea Dimarco about what he was going to say to Samoa Joe. Finn says he will tell Joe after kicking Elias’ ass.
Match Number One: John Skyler and Corey Hollis versus Jason Jordan and Chad Gable in a Non Title Match
Gable and Skyler start things off and they lock up but Gable with a single leg trip and a take down for a near fall. Skyler bridges out of a cover. They keep the knuckle lock but Gable wtih a side head lock and then he leap frogs and goes between Skyler’s legs. Gable with a rollup and Hollis tries to interfere but Gable with a hip lock take down. Gable with a drop toe hold to Skyler followed by an arm bar. Gable maintains the arm bar and Jordan tags in and hits a drop kick. Hollis tags in and Jordan with a take down into a front face lock. Gable tags in and Gable with knee drops to the arm. Jordan tags back in and Jordan with an arm bar.
Hollis with a forearm but Gable tags in and Skyler is knocked off the apron. They hit a double hip toss to Hollis and they give Skyler a double drop kick and it looks like Gable and Jordan are going to go Steiner. Skyler attacks Gable from the apron and he kicks Gable before tagging in. Hollis with a snap mare and knee drop followed by a leg drop from a Skyler for a near fall. Skyler with a front face lock but Gable with an overhead belly-to-belly throw. Jordan and Hollis tag in and Jordan sensd Hollis into the air. Jordan with a T-Bone suplex to Skyler and then he hits an overhead belly-to-belly suplex on Hollis.
Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder make their way to ringside.
Jordan with a running shoudler and they hit Grand Amplitude for the three count.
Winners: Jason Jordan and Chad Gable
After the match, Jordan and Gable invite Dawson and Wilder to come into the ring but Scott and Dash decide it is not time for this to happen.
Cathy Kelley asks Shinsuke Nakamura about Alex Riley’s comments last week and Riley talking about Rage. Shinsuke shows Cathy what he thinks of Rage and then he walks away.

Match Number Two: Alex Riley vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
They lock up and Riley with forearms across the bridge of the nose. They lock up again and Nakamura with a break as only Nakamura can (or probably would). Riley goes to the floor when Nakamura moves. Riley returns to the ring and Nakamura with a knee to the midsection but he misses a knee drop. Riley with chops and a drop kick. Riley slaps Nakamura in the back of the head. Nakamura wit a forearm and knees. Nakamura with forearms and then he stomps on Riley’s head in the ropes. Nakamura with forearms and Riley goes down. Nakamura with a knee to the midsection and Riley goes down. Nakamura puts Riley on the turnbuckles and he connects with a running knee.
Nakamura with a reverse exploder and he follows with Kinshasa for the three count.
Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura
William Regal is with Austin Aries in his office. Austin says he wants to prove that he is graet.
Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy come in and they say they want to be respected and get one more title match.
Austin comments on how they showed no respect by not even bringing in Alexa.
Alexa shows up.
William tells Blake and Murphy that they can face Austin Aries and a partner of his choosing.
Austin says he does not need a partner, but he will get one anyhow.

Match Number Three: Alexa Bliss versus Rachael Ellering
They lock up and Alexa with an arm bar. Ellering tries for a reversal but Alexa holds on. Rachael with a reversal but Alexa with a reversal and snap mare followed by a boot to the arm. Alexa with a top wrist lock but Rachael with a side head lock. Alexa escapes and slaps Rachael. Rachael with a single leg sweep and a rollup for a near fall. Alexa with a forearm and arm wringer and kick to the arm. Alexa gets a near fall. Alexa stomps on the arm. Alexa with an arm bar and she takes Rachael to the mat. Alexa with a knee drop to the arm and she punches Rachael and gets a near fall.
Alexa continues to work on the arm but Rachael escapes and sends Alexa into the ropes. Rachael with punches and a drop kick. Rachael gets Alexa on her shoulders but Alexa escapes. Alexa with an STO and then she goes up top for the Sparkle Splash and hits it for the three count.
Winner: Alexa Bliss
Cathy asks Bayley when will she get her rematch.
Bayley says that Asuka gave her the fight of her life. She is training and feeling better.
Nia Jax enters and she says that when she made one mistake, she got stronger. When you got choked out to lose the title, you got weaker.
Bayley says that while Nia might have dominated the match in London, Bayley won the match.
Nia says the result will not be the same when they meet again.
Bayley says that she will choke out Nia one more time.

We are back and it is official. Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy will face Austin Aries and mystery opponent. We will also see Bayley against Nia Jax next week.
Match Number Four: Finn Balor versus Elias Samson
Samson with a wrist lock and he works on the injured arm of Balor. Balor tries to reverse the hold but Samson takes Balor back to the mat. Balor with a side head lock take down for a near fall. Balor holds on to the side head lock. Balor with a hammer lock but Samson with an elbow. Balor with a drop kick and Samson goes to the floor as we go to commercial.
We are back and Balor with an arm bar. Samson wrings the arm and then he kicks Balor in the head. Samson with leaping elbow drops and he gets a near fall. Samson with a forearm and elbow. Samson with a suplex and he gets a near fall. Samson with a nerve hold but Balor with punches. Samson with a forearm and then he connects with another forearm as Balor comes off the ropes. Balor with a forearm to the head. Balor with a running chop followed by three Irish whips and running chops. Balor clotheslines Samson over the top rope to the floor. Balor with a baseball slide to Samson followed by a running kick from the apron.
Balor with Slingblade when they return to the ring followed by the running drop kick and then he hits 1916 for the three count.
Winner: Finn Balor
After the match, Balor says that Joe beat him and he is not making any excuses. He is not taking anything away from Joe, yet. He wants his rematch. Finn says that he is obsessed with NXT and being NXT Champion. Now, he is possessed. Possessed like a demon, stalking his prey. Stalking after what belongs to him.
Samoa Joe’s music plays and he makes his way to the stage. Joe makes his way to the ring as he yells at Balor. Joe says he went through hell to get this belt.
William Regal says he is here to make the decisions and this will not fall into chaos.
On June 8th at Takeover, Finn Balor gets his rematch against Samoa Joe.
