The Dusty Rhodes Classic Cup is shown at the beginning of the show. Rhea Ripley then enters with her NXT Women’s Championship. Ripley talks about “memories” that she made in the NXT ring, like winning the title. She is interrupted by Toni Storm.

Storm congratulates Rhea. She says Rhea deserves it, but then reminds her of the two times she beat Ripley. Storm says she’ll become NXT UK Women’s Champion again, and then become double champion. Ripley accepts the challenge. Kay Lee Ray then interrupts.

Kay Lee Ray says she’ll retain on Sunday. Io Shirai interrupts. Shirai points at the NXT Women’s Title and says “Mine.” Bianca Belair then interrupts. Bianca tells everyone she’s better then them, then tells Toni “You don’t even go here.” Candice LeRae then interrupts.

Everyone starts brawling. A referee runs out and informs the ring announcer that a six woman tag match is starting right now. Candice dives onto Io, Bianca & Kay Lee.

First Match: Rhea Ripley, Candice LeRae & Toni Storm vs. Kay Lee Ray, Bianca Belair & Io Shirai

Back from commercial, LeRae takes out Belair with a dropkick. Kay Lee Ray tags in. Candice hammers away at LeRae. Shirai distracts LeRae, leading to a superkick from Kay Lee for a nearfall. 

Shirai tags in. Shirai hits a flapjack. Shirai hits a sliding dropkick for a nearfall. Shirai stomps on LeRae. Kay Lee tags in.

Kay Lee stomps away on Candice. Ray maintains dominance and tags in Belair. Candice tries to fight back but Belair keeps punishing her.  Ray tags in.

Candice counters a suplex with a nearfall. Ray stretches Candice. Belair tags in and hits a suplex for a nearfall. Candice continues to try to get a tag. Belair hits a huge forearm strike. Kay Lee Ray tags in and hits a Swanton Bomb. Ray covers but Storm breaks up the pin. Wild brawl ensues. We head to commercial.

Back from commercial, Kay Lee Ray is dominating Candice. Candice hits a Poison Rana. Storm tags in. Storm hits a sliding D for a nearfall.

Shirai tags in an hits a butterfly backbreaker. Shirai tries for a moonsault but Belair blind tags in. Belair goes for Kiss of Death but Shirai interrupts with missile dropkick. Rhea Ripley tags in and hits Riptide for the pinfall in 16:20.

WINNERS: Rhea Ripley, Candice LeRae & Toni Storm.

After the match, Candice goes to hand Ripley the belt but hesitates an looks at it. Candice hands Ripley the title and raises both women’s hands.

Undisputed Era vs. Gallus in a Champion vs. Champion first round of the Dusty Rhodes Classic. Forgotten Sons will take on Imperium.

A hype video shows Ciampa’s hunt to regain his NXT Championship.

Backstage, Keith Lee yells at a Keith Lee flag.

Second Match: Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic First Round Match: Forgotten Sons (Steve Cutler & Wesley Blake) vs. Imperium (Marcel Barthel & Fabian Aichner) 

Aichner and Blake start the match. Cutler tags in and they hit a tandem move for a nearfall.  Blake tags in and they hit a back elbow. Barthel tags in and hits a double dropkick for a nearfall.

Barthel hits an uppercut. Blake hits a DDT. Cutler tags in. Aichner tags in. Aichner hits a flurry of stiff strikes. Cutler hits a Busaiku Knee strike. Cutler hits a back breaker for a nearfall. Cutler locks in a Boston Crab. Barthel breaks it up. Barthel tags in and hits a Backdrop Driver for a nearfall.

Aichner tags in and Blake fights off a double team. Aichner counters a Crossboy. Blake tags in. Aichner hits Regal Roll. Blake counters a moonsault. Blake hits a lariat. Barthel tags in and gets a nearfall off an assisted Suplex. Cutler breaks up a double team. Blake and Cutler hit a Superkick/Kiwi Crusher combo for a nearfall.

Blake hits a manhattan drop. Aichner tags in and hits a Spinebuster/Penalty Kick combo. Aichner counters a double team with European Bomb for the pinfall in 5:11.

WINNERS: Imperium

Backstage, Matt Riddle relays the tale of him and Pete Dunne becoming Bro-serweights. It was pretty much just “I’m a bro. You’re a bruiser. Dusty Cup?”

Mark Andrews is hyped up in a hype video. A Gallus hype-video.

Third Match: Austin Theory vs. Joaquin Wilde

They lock up. They trade holds. Theory counters a figure four. Wilde hits a back elbow. Wilde hits a head scissors takeover. Theory gets the advantage and hits a lariat/slingshot stomp combo. Theory covers for two.

Theory locks in a cobra clutch. Wilde hits a lariat. Wilde hits a skin the cat kick and a diving rana. Theory hits TheoryKO for the pinfall in 3:00.

WINNER: Austin Theory.

Backstage, the Undisputed Era warms up. After the commercial, Damien Priest readies for battle.

Fourth Match: Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic First Round Match: The Undisputed Era (Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly) vs. Gallus (Wolfgang & Mark Coffey)

Wolfgang and Coffey toss the Undisputed Era around the ring like rag dolls. Neither man can get anything going against the Brits. Cole distracts Wolfgang and Fish unleashes kicks. Kyle tags in and delivers kicks and knee strikes in the corner. Wolfgang comes back with a body slam. Coffey tags in. 

Coffey maintains dominance. Wolfgang tags in. Wolfgang fights off a double team and sends Undisputed Era to the outside. Cole & Strong help them gather themselves. We head to commercial.

Back from commercial. Wolfgang is fighting off a double team but eats stereo roundhouse kicks. Fish covers for two. Wolfgang powers out of a sleeper hold. Kyle tags in and eats a lariat. Fish gets thrown out of the ring. Fish pulls Coffey off the apron. Wolfgang hits a back body drop.

Coffey tags in and clears house. Undisputed Era regain the upperhand.

All four men trade blows in the ring. Undisputed Era are kicked to the outside. Mark Coffey hits an Assisted-Fosbury Flop. Adam Cole sneaks in an attack behind the referee’s back. Undisputed Era hit High Low for the pinfall in 12:24.

WINNERS: Undisputed Era

After the match, Finn Balor’s return to NXT is recapped. Mark Andrews & Flash Gordon Webster get a hype video.

Johnny Gargano comes out and says he’s been waiting a long time to get a live microphone and talk about “The Prince” Finn Balor. Gargano puts over Balor’s accomplishments and says that nothing will change that he injured Gargano. Balor says its a problem that Balor didn’t finish the job on the ramp. Gargano says that the only difference between him and Balor is that Gargano chose to stay in NXT when he got the call to move to the main roster.

Gargano says that he carried NXT after Balor abandoned it. He took NXT to outer space. Balor comes out and says that Gargano can only get cleared to cut a promo these days. He challenges Gargano to a match at NXT Takeover: Portland, if he makes it that far.

Backstage, Cameron Grimes gets hyped up. A hype video for Grizzled Young Veterans plays.

It is revealed that KUSHIDA will reunite with Alex Shelley for the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. The Time Splitters return tomorrow.

Fifth Match: Mia Yim vs. Kayden Carter.

Back and forth to start. Carter maintains dominance with her fast style. Yim comes back with stiff strikes and gets a nearfall off a basement dropkick. Yim locks in a Bow & Arrow that Carter reverses with a nearfall.

Yim hits a Backdrop Driver for a nearfall. Carter comers back with hard elbows and a rough face wash. Carder hits a Victory Roll Superkick for a nearfall.  Yim sneaks up with Protect Ya Neck for the pinfall in 3:50.

WINNER: Mia Yim

After the match, a post-match hug is interrupted by Chelsea Green and Robert Stone. Green takes out both women. Stone says that Chelsea Green is going to help the Robert Stone Brand take over 2020.

Backstage, Dominick Dijakovic talks about how the match is a formality, and the world will “feast their eyes” on the next North American Champion.

Next week there will be a Women’s Title #1 Contender’s Battle Royal.

MAIN EVENT: WWE NXT North American Championship #1 Contender Match: Damien Priest vs. Keith Lee vs. Dominick Dijakovic vs. Cameron Grimes

Lee tosses Grimes around the ring. Lee & Dijakovic show off, using Priest & Grimes for feats of strength. They trade leapfrogs. Grimes and Priest pummel Lee and Dijakovic in the corner. Priest punches Grimes in the face.

Priest sends Dijakovic into the corner. They trade kicks. Lee uses Priest as a weapon to take out Grimes and then powerbombs him onto the back of Dijakovic. Everyone brawls on the outside. Grimes and Dijakovic double team Lee. Lee fights back. Priest hits a dive to the outside.

Back from commercial, everyone is trading nearfalls. Priest hits Grimes with a Top Rope Rana and Lee catches him with a powerbomb. Dijakovic hits Feast Your Eyes on Grimes. Lee pounces Dijakovic out of the ring. Priest gets a nearfall on Lee. Lee and Priest trade blows.

Keith Lee rises from below and hits a double chokeslam. Grimes hits Collision Course for a nearfall. Grimes hits a moonsault to the outside.  Grimes takes out Dijakovic with a stiff shot. Grimes climbs to the top rope. Lee counters a Double Stomp with Mongolian Chops. Lee hits a Spirit Bomb for the pinfall in 14:01.

WINNER: Keith Lee
