— Mauro Ranallo welcomed us to Full Sail University alongside Nigel McGuinness and Percy Watson.

DAKOTA KAI vs. LACEY EVANS

Lacey mocked her opponent before the bell, and Kai fired off with some stiff kicks to shut her up. The two fought into the corner and Evans connected with a sick boot to the face, then literally tied her boot to the top rope and started stomping away on her face. She locked in a modified back stretch and continued to drive he knees into the back of her opponent, as Dakota screamed out in pain. This went on for a few minutes, with Lacey breaking the hold to do more damage, slowing things down, breaking it to do more damage, etc. Eventually she hit a slingshot elbow drop from the apron, but only got two. Kai tried to mount her comeback and got about two moves of offense in before being dropped with the Women’s Right.

Winner: Lacey Evans

— Ricochet was interviewed backstage and claimed that Adam Cole was scared to face him one-on-one and was hiding behind the Undisputed Era. He said he wouldn’t stop until he got his opportunity and became the next NXT North American Champion.

— EC3 was shown walking through a hotel where dorky “fans” kept coming up asking him for autographs, selfies and merch. He ran into Kona Reeves, who mocked his spray time and his fancy watch for not being “the finest”. I guess his problem is that EC3 is nice… but not as nice as him? I don’t know. EC3 got in his face and threatened to chop him up and feed him to his cats.

— A video package aired hyping next week’s NXT Championship match between Aleister Black and Ciampa. That match is gonna be siiiiick!

KASSIUS OHNO vs. RICK RAMIREZ

The two locked up and Ohno hit a discus elbow shot in about seven seconds, covered for the pin, and that’s all she wrote! Goodbye, local jobber!

Winner: Kassius Ohno
