— William Regal opens the show and invites the NXT Tag Team Champions Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins to the ring. The Undisputed Era are next. The Street Profits tell a few jokes and talk trash about their opponents, but they don’t seem to be amused. Kyle O’Reilly says the real joke is that the Profits are the NXT Tag Team Champions. Ford puts over that the UE has beaten everyone in the tag team division since they first got there, and they’ve been around a long time, but now that he and Dawkins have the belts and the focus is finally on them, losing is NOT an option. Both teams sign the contract for a match at Takeover.

— A video package airs hyping the triple threat match between Velveteen Dream, Pete Dunne and Roderick Strong for the NXT North American Championship at Takeover

— In another video package, Mia Yim talks about growing up in a dangerous area and wrestling being an escape for her from a young age. She does what she does for the fans, and to show them anything is possible when everything is against you. Shayna Baszler says it’s a great story about coming up from nothing, but it’s going to end the same as every other woman who tried and failed to beat her. She says Mia is street trash and deserves to be locked up.
