GARGANO – 0 BALOR – 0 CIAMPA – 0 COLE – 0

As this one continues, Gargano and Ciampa finally have a staredown, but Cole and Balor then get rid of them both and they staredown instead. Cole throws up the Two Sweet and Balor does the same as Cole tries to make a plan, but Balor turns on him and launches Cole out of the ring into Gargano.

He then launches himself over the ropes to take them both out and then dropkicks Ciampa through the timekeeper’s area. He sprints back and dropkicks both Cole and Gargano into the barricade and puts Adam back into the ring and connects with Coup De Grace for the first fall of the match!

GARGANO – 0 BALOR – 1 CIAMPA – 0 COLE – 0

After the pinfall, Balor is in the ring alone as each man tries to get back in with the Irishman taking them out individually. He unloads on chops to Johnny Gargano and then a running elbow drop as he slows the pace down and grounds Gargano.

Balor then begins stomping away on both former #DIY members as he continues his complete dominance of this main event. As the match returns from commercial, it is Ciampa looking to slingshot Adam Cole up into the steel under the ring like he did last week.

However, Balor flies through the ropes and takes him out, however as they get back into the ring Ciampa nails him with the Willows Bell and then follows it with the Fairytale Ending. But before Ciampa can get the pinfall, Gargano throws him out of the ring and pins Balor himself.

GARGANO – 1 BALOR – 1 CIAMPA – 0 COLE – 0

Ciampa takes out Gargano on the outside and Adam Cole then nails Tommaso with the Last Shot, but Ciampa is able to kick out and when he tries to do it a second time, Ciampa responds with a massive clothesline. Balor takes him out but Cole nails him with a superkick.

Gargano tries to slingshot himself into the ring but he gets hit with a superkick as well, with Cole then hitting the Panama Sunrise to earn a fall as well!

GARGANO – 1 BALOR – 1 CIAMPA – 0 COLE – 1

Adam Cole tries to hit the Last Shot again, this time to Gargano, but Balor pulls him out of the ring. Ciampa tries to take advantage of that but Cole then comes back to stop him. However, Ciampa nails a double Willows Bell to the two men and he follows it with the Fairytale Ending to Cole and he draws level with his competitors.

GARGANO – 1 BALOR – 1 CIAMPA – 1 COLE – 1

All four men then stumble to their feet and begin throwing hands with a real slugfest with Balor and Ciampa hitting a dual clothesline, while on the outside its dual superkicks between Cole and Gargano as all four men are back down again.

Ciampa launches Balor into the turnbuckles and then goes for several pinning attempts as he then nails a huge running knee strike in the corner to Finn. Tommaso follows that up with a second running knee and he then drops Adam Cole to the floor as well.

Ciampa makes sure Gargano isn’t left out as he gets thrown into the plexiglass with Cole also receiving the same treatment. Tommaso then gives himself the applause on the ring apron and he then gets Cole up on the apron with him as the UE leader hits a big right foot to Ciampa.

Cole scales to the top turnbuckle but Tommaso goes to join him as they continue to fight and it is Cole who comes out best, sliding through and kicking the leg of Ciampa, which makes him bounce off.

When the match returns from another break, Balor is in control, nailing each man with chops but as he tries to Irish whip Ciampa, he collapses due to his injured knee. Balor then targets that with the single leg crab but he is able to get out, only to be nailed with a sling blade and the dropkick into the corner.

Balor goes up to the top and aims for the Coup De Grace but Ciampa rolls away and Finn ends up being nailed by stereo superkicks from Gargano and Cole. Johnny then nails Cole with another one and then flings himself out three times in a row with suicide dives to each man, but Balor manages to catch him on the final one, only for Gargano to nail the tornado DDT on the floor.

Cole and Gargano then trade-off with superkick attempts but as Cole aims for his finisher, Gargano avoids it and gets locked in the Gargano Escape, but Tommaso Ciampa drags them both out of the ring to stop it. Tommaso then starts attacking each man individually on the outside, with Cole getting suplexed on the floor.

Balor gets launched into the barricade several times, but Gargano fights back against him as the two men slug it out. Ciampa exposes the steel under the ring yet again and this time he connects with the slingshot to Gargano. Ciampa seemingly has the pinfall, but Cole pulls him out.

Tommaso fights Cole off and goes for another pinning attempt and this time it is Balor who stops him. This time Ciampa launches both men far away, but as he gets back into the ring, Gargano almost steals it with a roll-up, but Ciampa kicks out!

Tommaso then continues his attack on Gargano as they go to the second rope. Ciampa drops Gargano down to the ring but as he does that, Finn Balor leaps from the top rope with a Coup De Grace to Ciampa to gain a pinfall!

GARGANO – 1 BALOR – 2 CIAMPA – 1 COLE – 1

However, with just seconds left as Balor gets to his knees, Adam Cole nails him from behind with the Last Shot and with just three seconds left, Adam Cole pins Finn Balor!

The match is officially finished with both Finn Balor and Adam Cole level on the scoreboard. The two men argue over who is the NXT Champion until William Regal appears, as he reveals next week it will be Adam Cole vs Finn Balor in sudden death, one fall to the finish to determine who will be champion.
