WWE has today officially announced its plans for the NXT UK show and how it plans to stream the show on the WWE Network starting very soon.
After months of speculation and waiting, WWE has revealed that the NXT UK brand will start streaming episodes on the WWE Network as early as next Wednesday, 17 October, at 8 pm BST.
WWE has already taped several episodes when the brand has been on the road featuring top talents such as Pete Dunne, Moustache Mountain, Rhea Ripley, Toni Storm, and many more. The NXT UK brand is in Plymouth this week and will be taping more episodes for future use.
It had been reported that WWE was hoping to land a TV deal in the UK, but with the news that the show will be on the WWE Network, it appears that those plans have been changed.
Speaking at a press conference today in London to announce the news, Triple H stated:
“He said: “NXT UK is the next step in our global localisation strategy and we are proud to do this in a place where WWE has had a special relationship for more than 30 years.”
