DREW MCINTYRE IS THANKFUL

We kick off tonight’s WWE Raw with Drew McIntyre, who welcomes us to the show and starts talking about WWE Survivor Series. He says it’s a Thanksgiving tradition, and he says he’s grown up with the WWE Universe, so he’s going to tell us what he’s thankful for.

He’s thankful to family and friends he can lean on, he’s thankful to the fans, and to the ThunderDome bringing us closer together. He also says he is thankful to the doubters and says that’s when you have to work harder. He then moves on to Roman Reigns, saying he cares about nobody but himself.

Drew says he will win the WWE Championship tonight, and then at WWE Survivor Series, he is going to humble Roman and Claymore Kick him back down to Earth. But then Randy Orton appears on the titantron and he says he figured he’d chime in and say what he’s thankful for.

He says he is thankful for being a 14-time WWE World Champion, but he’s also thankful for the fine that he was handed today for putting his hands on Adam Pearce and the fact it doesn’t phase him. Orton says he has been fined more and been suspended more than everyone else on the roster.

But he is still here after all of that because he is the greatest wrestler ever and he will prove that when he walks out of here still the WWE Champion. McIntyre says it ends tonight, this time he won’t be crashing off the Hell in a Cell, but his foot will come crashing through Orton’s head and tonight he will become WWE Champion.

The Miz and John Morrison then appear as Miz teases sitting front row for the WWE Championship match tonight. Miz says the WWE Championship could change hands tonight, and it is clear that he hands holding it at the end of tonight will be…his.

Miz then claims that Bray Wyatt is afraid of him and Morrison. They tease that change is coming and Drew agrees, and says the difference between him and Orton is that Randy is a patient man, as he teases fighting them both.

The Miz says that’s what cost him his title, as he gave title match after title match. He then says whether or not Drew wins or loses, he will be the one laughing all the way to the bank.

LANA TRIES TO IMPRESS HER PARTNERS

Lana is shown backstage with the Women’s Tag Team Championships and says she requested to team with them tonight and she did so to prove that her getting into Team Raw wasn’t just a fluke. Shayna Baszler then says this isn’t about her, it’s about them proving they run this division. Nia Jax then warns her and says she shouldn’t tag into this match at any point.

LANA, NIA JAX, & SHAYNA BASZLER vs ASUKA, DANA BROOKE, & MANDY ROSE

Lana tries to start this match but Shayna Baszler immediately tags herself in. Dana Brooke tries to attack her early on but Baszler hits an innovative backbreaker and then nails a knee strike as Shayna attacks Asuka in the corner.

She then dumps Dana out of the ring and tags Nia Jax, who flatters Mandy Rose on the outside. Nia decides to hold Mandy’s arm on the steel stairs and Baszler comes across and stomps down upon it, adding further problems to an area that is already taped up.

Back in the ring, Baszler tries to stomp down on Brooke’s arm, but she is able to avoid it and pull her into the turnbuckles. Asuka then tags in and dumps out Jax on the apron with a hip attack as she takes the attack to Shayna in the corner.

The Raw Women’s Champion hits a great running dropkick, but Nia Jax breaks the pinfall. Brooke then leaps onto the back of Nia, but she dumps Dana to the outside, meanwhile back in the ring Asuka nails a big kick to the head of Shayna.

However, Nia once again tries to get involved, but Asuka kicks her away. Shayna locks in the Kirafuda Clutch but Lana then tags herself in, forcing the submission break. She then nails Asuka with a great kick to the face, but her partners then distract her by arguing at her which allows the champion to reverse things with the Asuka Lock to get the win.

Winners: Asuka, Dana Brooke, & Mandy Rose

After the match, that’s right, you guessed it…Lana goes through the announce table courtesy of a Samoan Drop.

Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) vs. Team XXXL (Acey Romero & Larry D)

Shelley is back from a minor injury and wastes no time in showing that he’s just as good as he’s ever been, taking both big men down with rapid strikes and kicking combinations, setting up Chris Sabin for a big dive through the ropes to take them out on the floor. Shelley continues to pelt Acey Baby with kicks and body shots. Sabin comes off the top rope but gets caught around the throat and hurled across the ring. Shelley saves his partner from a splash in the corner and the Guns double team Acey, until he powerbombs one on top of the other.

Larry D gets the tag and goes to work with big stomps and knee drops to the body and back of Shelley. He squashes his opponent in the corner and rolls him back to the center, delivering a mule kick to the side of the head. Two-count. Romero tags back in and XXXL crush Shelley in between them. Sabin doesn’t wait for the tag and just leaps off the ropes into a missile dropkick, sending Larry to the floor.

Tags made by Sabin and Larry D. The Machine Guns double team Larry again with kicking combinations, before taking him off his feet with a High Low combo. Romero makes the save and drops a huge leg on Sabin, blasting Shelley off the apron. XXXL sets up to squash Sabin again, but he rolls out of the way and they crash into each other like freight trains. Shelley returns but eats a back elbow. Sabin off the ropes with a bulldog to take the big man down. The Guns hoist up Ace for an impressive suplex, taking him out of the equation. Larry takes the Skull & Bones for the three.

Winners: Motor City Machine Guns

Sami Callihan and Ken Shamrock arrived at the building but security wouldn’t let them in. Scott D’Amore told Shamrock that he went too far last week putting his hands on an IMPACT official, suspending him without pay for 30 days. Callihan freaks out, and D’Amore tells him if he keeps it up it’ll be 60 days and they’ll both be suspended. Shamrock said he could drop the security guards and force his way into the building, but he’s not looking to make this a legal issue. When he comes back, he promises he’ll put his hands on whoever he wants.

John E. Bravo runs into XXXL backstage and freaks out on Larry D for trying to murder him. Fair point. Tommy Dreamer separated them and told Bravo to hit the bricks for his own safety. Dreamer, in a shirt that says “POLICE” for some reason, tells Larry D that he has to go “downtown” with him for questioning. Larry knocks him out cold with a backhand.
