WWE Raw Results (3/2): Randy Orton Confronts Beth Phoenix, Major Title Change, More!

March 2nd, 2020

We are kicking off tonight’s WWE Raw with the WWE Champion, Brock Lesnar! Paul Heyman says it’s their job to hype WrestleMania, with Heyman claiming it is one of the most stacked shows in decades, but the main event is a sham.

Heyman says they want to sell you on Drew McIntyre, but he is a hyped-up fraud. Paul says at the WWE Royal Rumble, Brock massacred 15 Superstars, only to be hit from behind in the testicles, allowing Drew McIntyre to eliminate him with the Claymore Kick.

Heyman states that he can’t pin Brock at WrestleMania, as all he can do is take advantage of a situation. Heyman says the next time he lays hands on Drew, it will be over because Drew is nothing more than a stupid, big bitch.

Well, it looks like that moment could be right now because Drew McIntyre is here! McIntyre heads into the ring and immediately goes face to face with Brock and stares him down but Brock points at his title and backs away. However, just as Brock seems to be leaving, he runs to jump McIntyre, and he responds with a huge Claymore Kick, leaving the Beast laying!

Drew’s not finished! As Brock Lesnar slowly makes his way to the top of the entrance, the number one contender bursts out from the back and nails Brock with another Claymore Kick! He holds up the title proudly, and then he follows the crowd’s advice to hit the move “one more time,” and he hits a third Claymore Kick!

Before the bell even rings the Raw Tag Team Champions attack The Street Profits to get a jump start, however, the number one contenders manage to turn it around. They send the champions to the outside and Montez Ford leaps over the top rope, but Seth Rollins and Murphy catch him and then send him crashing into the barricade.

Back from commercial the match is underway with Angelo Dawkins being dumped out of the ring by Murphy. However, Dawkins shows the fire and takes out both Murphy and Seth, bringing Ford back in and this time his dive over the top rope works.

Back in the ring, he keeps the pace going with a double crossbody, and he follows it with a DDT to Rollins and then a standing moonsault. Rollins manages to regain control with a buckle bomb, and Murphy catches Ford with a kick at the same time.

Dawks manages to break up the pinfall but he gets launched into the ring post for his troubles. Seth looks to do the same thing again but Ford reverses and this leads to Murphy kicking Seth in the face. Ford then sends Murphy flying out of the ring and he catches Seth with a big kick.

But as he looks to take things to the top rope, Rollins simply dumps him to the outside. Seth then signals for AOP who make their way down, but the official ends up sending both men to the back. While Murphy and AOP argue with the referee, Kevin Owens hits the ring and catches Rollins with a Stunner!

AOP chase KO out of the ringside area while Murphy gets sent flying into the timekeeper’s area by Dawkins. Back in the ring, Montez Ford climbs to the top rope and hits a Frog Splash… we have NEW Tag Team Champions!
