MUSTAFA ALI vs. RIDDLE
Straight away Riddle shows his submission work against Mustafa Ali, but he responds well with a dropkick, but Riddle then dumps him out of the ring and follows it up with a running kick on the ring apron. The United States Champion then puts Sheamus’ hat on (he’s on commentary), and as he dances around, Ali comes from behind and connects with a Russian leg sweep to the floor.
Back in the ring, Ali begins to work on the ribs of Riddle, but he fires back with several kicks and then a couple of running forearms before hitting the exploded and the broton. Riddle then locks in a triangle choke, but Ali is able to get his feet onto the ropes.
Ali responds by dropping Riddle down onto his knees, attacking the ribs once again as he continues to target the area. Ali then slaps Riddle as he talks trash, but his attempted tornado DDT does work, as Riddle catches him and reverses into the Broderek.
Winner: Riddle
Drew McIntyre is asked about King Corbin, and he says he gets it, there are huge stakes if he takes him out, he gets to go to WrestleMania. Drew puts Corbin over as someone who is dangerous, but it’s the same result every time, a Claymore, and onto WrestleMania to get back his WWE Championship.

The Chairman of the Board himself, Vincent Kennedy McMahon, makes his way to the stage surrounded by the entire WWE roster. He says for the past year there has been something missing, but tonight the WWE Universe is back in force. There’s just one thing left to say: “Welcome… to WrestleMania!”
We go to ringside where Michael Cole announces there will be a “short delay” due to thunderstorms in the area. We officially have our first rain delay in the history of WrestleMania.
And we’re back! 45 minutes later…
WWE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
BOBBY LASHLEY (c) vs. DREW MCINTYRE
The two juggernauts lock up in the center of the ring and jockey for position. The Almighty manages to take McIntyre down with a big shoulder tackle, but he pops right back up and retains the favor. They trade hands in the middle of the ring before McIntyre sends Lashley over the ropes with a clothesline.
The champion takes control on the floor, sending McIntyre into the barricade multiple times. Back in the ring he follows with shoulder thrusts and rains down elbow strikes and forearms in the ropes, until the ref backed him off. McIntyre fired back with some heavy knife-edge chops and side-stepped a spear sending Lashley crashing into the ring post.
McIntyre surprises Lashley with a cross armbreaker on the mat. The champ quickly frees himself with mounted punches, and goes back to shoulder thrusts in the corner. McIntyre begins to rally with shoulder tackles before sending his opponent overhead with a belly-to-belly suplex. And another! Lashley throws a disoriented punch and gets dropped with a neckbreaker. McIntyre kips up and the fans come alive!
Lashley counters the Future Shock DDT and again sets up for a spear in the corner, and again McIntyre saw it coming. Northern Lights suplex bridge gets the challenger a two-count. McIntyre scoops him up for something, but Lashley powers out and delivers the Dominator for a nearfall. He follows with a massive one-arm spinebuster, but it’s still not enough to get the job done.
Lashley sets up for the Hurt Lock but can’t quite hook it in. McIntyre nails him with stiff elbows. Reverse Alabama Slam! The Scottish Warrior once again kips up and gets ready for the Claymore. Lashley side-steps the move and the two once again come face-to-face in the ring. “Bring it, bitch!”, says McIntyre.
Lashley tees off with wild rights and lefts, but McIntyre catches him with another belly-to-belly suplex. Future Shock DDT connects! He doesn’t even try to go for the pin and instead scoops Lashley up for a second, and then a third Future Shock. 1… 2… NO! Our first legitimate “THIS IS AWESOME!” chant breaks out around Raymond James Stadium. McIntyre goes for the Claymore again, but the champion bails outside to save himself.
McIntyre refuses to stop and decides to launch himself OVER the ropes, taking a page out of The Undertaker’s WrestleMania playbook. “HOLY SHIT!” chant from the fans. He drags Lashley back into the ring, the champion tries for the Hurt Lock, but McIntyre counters into a Kimura Lock! The big man is starting to fade… but barely reaches out and gets his fingers on the bottom rope to save himself and the title.
Once more, McIntyre sets up for the Claymore Kick in the corner. He moves to strike, but MVP screams out and distracts him. This is just enough for Lashley to duck the move and catch the challenger in the Hurt Lock! He’s fading! McIntyre is nearly out but suddenly powers back to his feet, screaming out. He uses the ropes to roll backwards, but Lashley hangs on to the submission! IT’S OVER!
Winner & Still Champion: Bobby Lashley

IMPACT Wrestling Hardcore Justice Results: Title vs Career, Hardcore War, Women’s Weapons Match & More

Apr 10, 2021

This show is currently streaming on IMPACT Plus and FITE. Women’s wrestling legend Jazz puts her career on the line for one last chance at Deonna Purrazzo and the Knockouts Championship this afternoon. Plus an 8-man Hardcore War, a women’s weapons match to determine the #1 contender and more.
IMPACT Wrestling: Hardcore Justice Results
April 10, 2021
— Triple Threat Tag Team Match: Josh Alexander & Petey Williams def. TJP & Fallah Bahh and Ace Austin & Madman Fulton. This was a preview for the X-Division title match at Rebellion with all three competitors finding tag partners. All six looked great with non-stop action. Lots of innovative offense but not so much that they were just running through spots aimlessly. Fulton and Bahh looked like monsters and then collided at the end. The finish saw Petey hit the Canadian Destroy on the champ, Austin, while Alexander slapped an ankle lock on Bahh for the submission.
— “Chairly Legal” Match: Shera def. Hernandez. Two big dudes brawling around smacking each other with steel chairs. Shera superplexed Supermex into a pile of chairs at the end but he somehow kicked out. Rohit Raju ran out and hit Hernandez in the head with a chair to allow Shera to get the win. Looks like Rohit is trying to mend fences after their fallout.
— Doc Gallows def. Black Taurus. This was way too slow for my taste as Gallows controlled most of the offense. It ended with another distraction/interference finish with Karl Anderson getting on the apron. Gallows powerbombed him to win. Taurus is WAY too good to be in spots like this. Reminds me of how TNA used Okada when he was young.
— “Crate American Bash” Match: Matt Cardona def. Johnny Swinger. There were creates on each of the turnbuckles with things instead. I have no idea why. One of them had a mouse trap that Swinger caught his fingers on.
— Sami Callihan def. Sam Beale. Callihan issued an open challenge before the match. This was basically a squash that Callihan won with the Cactus Piledriver.
— Hardcore Blindfold Rules: Jake Something def. Brian Myers. Both men had blindfolds on with weapons everyone. Commentary talked a surprise amount about them maintaining contact and wrist control to make it at least somewhat “technical”. Of course Myers ended up removing his mask with the ref down and superkicked Something. Cardona came out with one of the crates from earlier and slid it into the ring. Something broke it over Myers’ head and action figures flew everywhere, allowing him to hit the Black Hole Slam for the win.
— Weapon’s Match: Tenille Dashwood def. Rosemary, Alisha Edwards, Havok, Su Yung and Jordynne Grace. They did some cool tricks with sillouettes and lighting effects to make it look like Su Yung returned and attacked “Susan” to take her place in the match, which scared the hell out of everyone. Tenille won after spending most of the time running away from people and trying to get involved as little as possible. Kaleb with a K got taken out early in the match by all the women, but came back at the end to cost Jordynne the match.
— Title vs. Career: Deonna Purrazzo (c) def. Jazz to retain the Knockouts Championship. These two had a good, physical match. Jazz may be a bit more limited than she was in her prime but it’s awesome that she got to come back, kick ass, have some good matches and end her career on her own terms.
— Hardcore War: Violent By Design def. Rich Swann & Willie Mack & Eddie Edwards & Trey Miguel. Everyone entered one at a time so there was constantly a numbers game advantage until the end, like in WarGames. So this was originally Tommy Dreamer’s main event as he had booked the whole show, but someone took him out backstage. D’Amore found a replacement in Trey Miguel who came out last with a crowbar to clean house. It occured to me at the end that EY has a torn ACL and I don’t even know how the dude was moving around, let alone doing some of the spots he was doing. Mack took the fall after EY hit him with a piledriver.
