The August 20 edition of WWE Smackdown was watched by an estimated 2,142,000 viewers, down just slightly from the week before at 2,164,000 coming out of SummerSlam.
The dip in viewership was somewhat expected, but the good news is that the show was still among the most-watched episodes since WrestleMania season ended in April. WWE Smackdown also retained its top spot on cable television Tuesday night in adults 18-49, with a 0.7 rating.
Miz & Mrs. was watched by an estimated 997,000 viewers immediately following Smackdown, which is down from the week before, but still landed at #4 on Tuesday night with a 0.4 rating in adults 18-49. That’s actually up one spot from the week before despite the dip in viewership.
It’s another good week for the USA Network as they took 4 of the top 10 spots on cable television on Monday night, and 3 of the top 5 spots on Tuesday night, including Growing Up Chrisley.
