MIZ TV

We are kicking off tonight’s WWE SmackDown Live with a Monday Night Raw Superstar as The Miz is here to host another episode of Miz TV. Miz claims he is being told he must follow the script tonight, so he introduces his guests, Drew McIntyre and Shane McMahon, who he jokes is the ‘pest in the world.’

Shane and Drew are joined by Elias and Shane immediately wants a proper introduction from Greg Hamilton. Shane claims he invited Elias because every great talk show has a musical act, and Elias begins to break into some music, tonight with an electric guitar.

Shane claims at Super ShowDown, he did what he said he would and continues that Roman Reigns shouldn’t be embarrassed by that because he was beaten by the best in the world. Miz claims that all of Shane’s accomplishments are tainted, claiming that he only won one match at the World Cup, Miz beat him all over the ring at WrestleMania and Roman destroyed him until McIntyre got involved.

We are then shown a clip of Roman Reigns following Super ShowDown, where the Big Dog claimed someone gave Shane the win and he is going to kick Drew’s ass at Stomping Grounds. Drew then says Roman always lets his emotions get the best of him, and he adds he is unlike anyone else because when he hurts people, he loves it.

Miz agrees that Drew can match Roman Reigns, but states that it is a shame his potential is being wasted, adding that Shane will eventually turn on him and stab him in the back as he did to him.  Miz then claims that Shane is a talentless hack, and Shane quickly fires back by claiming he shares the DNA with a baked potato.

Shane says it is clear that Miz wants another shot at him, and agrees that he will give him it, on two conditions. First, he must beat Elias, and second, he must beat Drew McIntyre.

ELIAS vs THE MIZ

As we return from the commercial break the first match of the night is underway as Elias goes old school from the top rope and gets in control of things from the outset. Miz managed to fight his way out with several punches, taking Elias into the corner to unload several kicks before the running knees.

However, Miz goes to the well one too many times and Elias rocks him with a knee of his own in the middle of the ring and he then hits a huge sit out powerbomb. The SmackDown star then goes high risk and misses with an Elbow Drop which opens up the chance for the Skull Crushing Finale.

Winner: The Miz

THE MIZ vs DREW MCINTYRE

There is no time to rest though, as Drew McIntyre immediately hits the ring and quickly goes on the attack whilst Miz is trying to get a breather. Drew makes light work of The Miz in the early outset, hitting a big chop, but the A-Lister has plenty of fight left in him as he avoids a running charge, which makes Drew go shoulder first into the turnbuckle.

With Drew resting on the outside, Miz charges and dives, feet-first under the bottom rope, attacking McIntyre, but as he returns to the ring and attempts to jump off the top rope, Miz slips. However, he quickly regroups and hits a DDT, but a brief distraction from Shane McMahon proves to be costly as McIntyre hits the Glasgow Kiss followed by the Claymore. There will be no Shane McMahon match tonight.

Winner: Drew McIntyre

Shane then gets on the microphone and says that the match should happen right now!  McMahon mocks Miz and quickly starts throwing jabs, but Miz is not finished and starts throwing hands himself, attempting to hit the Skull Crushing Finale, but Shane quickly reverses and sticks on a choke hold, earning a submission victory.
