Tonight the annual Superstar Shakeup comes to Monday Night RAW hot off the heels of a massive WrestleMania week in New Orleans. Last year we saw more than a dozen WWE Superstars trade brands, brand new teams at the commentary table, and a new home for the Intercontinental Championship on the first night alone!
We’ll be keeping track of every single name moving to Monday Night RAW right here on this page, so keep updating as the night progresses!
Moving to RAW: United States Champion Jinder Mahal & The Singh Brothers
You may now refer to him as the “Monday Night Maharaja”, as Jinder Mahal and the Singh brothers kicked off WWE RAW this week as the first three men to be traded in the Superstar Shakeup.
Of course that also means that the United States Championship will at least temporarily call the red brand “home”, after Jinder won the title in a Fatal 4-Way match last week at WrestleMania 34. Unfortunately for him and his stooges (and the 1.3 billion people of India), the Maharaja did not have long to celebrate his new reign. As punishment for his brash and cocky attitude, RAW GM Kurt Angle immediately put Mahal into a match against the “Charismatic Enigma” Jeff Hardy who was able to connect with a Swanton Bomb to put Jinder away and capture the U.S. title for the first time in his career.
